Strand Deining

Beach pavilion Deining has been a household name in Castricum for decades. At the end of 2021, a new beach pavilion opened with a completely new look and feel, where our studio was asked to develop the branding and graphic design concept. In addition to developing a new graphic design concept, we also had the opportunity to think about a new name. The new name chosen for the new concept is: Strand Deining. We got our inspiration for the design concept from the North Sea, the name, the inhabitants of the sea and beach, the seasons and the emotional value of getting a breath of fresh air. The atmosphere of the design concept is colourful, imaginative with handmade illustrations. The best kept secret between city and mudflats!
